Special materials

Not every application can be covered with standard materials. In cooperation with selected upstream suppliers, we also offer you solutions made of special materials – reliable, customised and with technical expertise.

Stainless steel:

We supply stainless steels in various designs, customised to your area of application, as coils, slit strips or sheets:

• Austenitic stainless steels: e.g. 1.4301 (V2A), 1.4571 (V4A) – corrosion-resistant and easy to form
• Ferritic stainless steels: e.g. 1.4003 – economical, robust and with good weldability
• Non-ferrous metals

For special applications, we supply non-ferrous metals as coils, slit strips or sheets:

• Light metals: aluminium, titanium – ideal for weight reduction in vehicle construction or aviation
• Heavy metals: copper, zinc, tin, nickel or technical alloys such as bronze and brass

Clad materials – combined properties

If a single material is not enough, clad sheets and strips offer specific advantages:

• Bimetal / trimetal combinations – e.g. aluminium on steel
• Weight or cost optimisation
• Special properties – such as thermal reaction (thermobimetals) or increased corrosion resistance

We supply clad materials using the roll cladding or explosive cladding process, depending on your requirements.
