CNC-Machining: Metrology

The XM5000 3D production measuring system enables us to measure shape and position tolerances with high precision and to determine the roundness, parallelism, position, flatness and symmetry of various workpieces both on the measuring table and directly on the machine. With the high-precision XM-5000 camera, it is possible to measure components up to a length of 2 metres with a measuring accuracy of 7 µm.

The integrated environmental diagnosis function ensures that the measurement result remains unaffected by ambient vibrations. A temperature equalisation function can be used to compensate for fluctuations in the ambient temperature so that the measurement objects are measured under the same conditions as in an air-conditioned measuring room.

The component to be measured can be compared and analysed with its 3D CAD data both for distance dimensions and for shape and position tolerances. The deviations between the measured object and the CAD drawing can also be displayed as a colour mismatch comparison.

In addition, we can create test reports including images of the measurement of your components.
