This year we were once again able to prove our claim to be a system supplier for complete solutions in stainless steel by completing a major project in stainless steel processing. INTERSTAHL SÜD GmbH supplied 13 assembled basic casings made of material 1.4301. These are used as the basis for high-speed tubular centrifuges used in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products. The entire vertical range of manufacture of the Donzdorf site could be used for this purpose: from underwater plasma cutting of the stainless steel sheets to 5-axis milling of the blanks and finishing of the individual components by surface grinding, all the necessary production steps could be performed in-house.
In addition, the precise assembly of the seven-part assembly group was also carried out in-house for the first time.
