Bigger, more precise, faster, environmentally conscious

These were the requirements that had to be met when we entered the decision-making process for the purchase of an additional machining center at the beginning of 2019.

We are receiving more and more inquiries in the area of processing of large parts, machining of welded constructions and production parts with narrow tolerances. In addition, we wanted to close the gap of 5-axis processing and implement a sustainable concept. In the end, we chose a Zayer XIOS 4000 for good reasons. With working dimensions of 1,600 x 1,600 x 4,000 mm and a latest-generation universal 30 degree angle head, we can now considerably expand our range of products.

Infinitely variable milling head that can be positioned in space:
enables the processing of all bevels in all axes
Alignment of the milling head to the workpiece position:
Reduction of set-up time by machining in unaligned workpiece position
Highest milling stability due to sixfold, wraparound guided boom:
almost constant, low-vibration milling stability over the entire transverse travel
1,600 mm cross travel:
largest cross travel in comparison to competitors
Rack and pinion drive of the table:
low wear, low maintenance, minimum backlash
Powerful spindle with 40/53 kW, 1,020/1,350 Nm, 6,000 rpm
for extremely high milling performance
30 m/min in all axes + extremely fast tool change times

Our machine has now been in operation for about 6 months and we feel confirmed in all respects.
